Arming Sword

Wider and heavier than the Small Sword, the arming sword was a versatile one-handed sword that could cut or thrust. Popular with knights (before the Longsword), it was often paired with a shield; even if the second hand was empty, the bearer could easily use it to grapple with the enemy.

Status of Set 8

Note: This card was never printed. The final version from the design team has been spoiled to players on the Anachronism forums. There's no telling whether or not this card will be printed, and if it were, that it'd have the same text as the spoiled version.

 

As is, one will notice missing elements, since the card hasn't been finished. There's no artist or flavor text; card names and ability titles are English, rather than Old English.
