Excluded Dice:
Several cards allow you to roll a third or further die as part of a roll that is normally only 2 dice. Abilities like these have a few properties in common:
•The extra dice are rolled at the same time as the original 2 dice in the roll.
•The dice to be used as part of the roll are selected after all rerolls, die manipulation, swaps, and other bonuses are applied.
•The dice that are not used in the final roll can never be used to trigger abilities that look at the results of a die or a roll.
Additive and Replacement abilities:
Of the abilities above, ones worded using the term 'additional' (Like Auítzotl) can be used in conjunction with other abilities that change the number of dice in a roll.
For example, Odin:
"When making attack or defense rolls, only roll one die. Your roll is equal to the die roll plus the attacking or defending opponent's initiative for this round."
•This is an ability that affects the number of dice rolled. Thus, it could be used in conjunction with abilities worded like Auitzotl, but not those worded like Ninja-to. As with other replacement effect conflicts, the active player's effect will take precedence, and if both effects are controlled by the same player, that player will choose which to apply.

With Aztec power in question due to the weak rule of the previous ruler, Tízoc, Auítzotl immediately set about restoring his kingdom. After putting down a Huastec rebellion, he initiated a series of campaigns along Mexico’s Pacific coast, swiftly conquering the Zapotec and Mixtec tribes. Auítzotl also oversaw considerable renovations in Tenochtitlán. By the end of his reign, he had more than doubled the size of his empire, rebuilt his capital, and raised the Aztec Empire to the heights of its power.
