Many of Levantine cultures (such as the Phoenicians who founded Carthage) worshipped a pantheon of gods, at the head of which was a "Ba`al." The term Ba`al is merely a Semitic word for "lord" or "master." Ba`al Hammon was the chief god of Carthage; there isn't a clear picture of who Ba`al Hammon was, and he is often identified with Saturn or El.
Status of Set 8
Note: This card was never printed. The final version from the design team has been spoiled to players on the Anachronism forums. There's no telling whether or not this card will be printed, and if it were, that it'd have the same text as the spoiled version.
As is, one will notice missing elements, since the card hasn't been finished. There's no artist or flavor text; card names and ability titles are English, rather than Punic.
