Knowing that the Carthaginian forces in Italy were commanded by a brilliant tactician, Fabius Maximus played to the Roman advantages: reserves and supply lines. Instead of trying to defeat Hannibal Barca in direct conflict, Fabius sought to wear down his opponent, to the point that brilliant stratgems mattered little.
Status of Set 8
Note: This card was never printed. The final version from the design team has been spoiled to players on the Anachronism forums. There's no telling whether or not this card will be printed, and if it were, that it'd have the same text as the spoiled version.
As is, one will notice missing elements, since the card hasn't been finished. There's no artist or flavor text; card names & ability titles are English, rather than Latin.
