From the FAQ
Ger
'After you hit with this weapon, if the attack roll was greater than the defender's experience, this weapon deals +1 damage for the rest of the game.'
The trigger for this ability is incorrect. Treat this card as if it read: "After you hit with this weapon, after the attack deals damage, if the attack roll was greater than the defender's experience, this weapon deals +1 damage for the rest of the game."
(The original texts reads - "Aufgestaute Wut: After you hit with this weapon, if the attack roll was greater than the defender's experience, this weapon deals +1 damage for the rest of the game.")
History in Brief
Trivia
- Aufgestaute Wut roughly translates to "built-up/accumulated fury".
- Players have occasionally pointed out that a "Ger" is just a spear; why is it such a powerful card? One response might be that, this particular weapon refers to a warrior dual-wielding spears (akin to Dorata me Mproutzini Ehmi).
- Some 19th century scholars postulated that Germani meant "men with spears." This is unlikely, however, as germani was in wide use before "Ger" referred to a spear.
