Hauhau-Te-Rangi

Page history last edited by MindBomber 17 years, 1 month ago

In legends of Maori tribal origins, the Hauhau-te-rangi was an adze made from greenstone. It was one of two named axes (or adzes) that was named; these instruments were used for carving the Waka that brought the Maori's ancestors to New Zealand.
