The iaculum was the weighted net used by the retiarii gladiators. The combatant used it to block, confuse, trip, or trap the opponent, finishing the unlucky fellow off with his knife or Fascina.

Status of Set 8

Note: This card was never printed. The final version from the design team has been spoiled to players on the Anachronism forums. There's no telling whether or not this card will be printed, and if it were, that it'd have the same text as the spoiled version.

As is, one will notice missing elements, since the card hasn't been finished. There's no artist or flavor text; ability titles are English, rather than Latin.
