Organized Assault: Once each round, when you make a basic attack, make two attack rolls and compare each against the defender's defense roll. Deal your warrior's damage for each attack roll that hits.

Well-Equipped: You may use another weapon card.

After Mormons seized Fort Bridger, Bridger guided Albert Sidney Johnson's Army to the site in 1857, forcing the Mormon's to flee.

Warrior Pack

Johnson's Army comes with the Jim Bridger warrior pack.

From the FAQ

This card works very differently than many other weapons, and interacts with card abilities in interesting ways:

-You are only making one attack: Any ability that occurs 'when you attack' only happens once when you make a basic attack with Organized Assault.

-You are making two attack rolls: Any ability that occurs 'when you make an attack roll' occurs two times when attacking. Abilities that trigger off of the result of an attack roll will occur for any attack roll that satisfies the condition, even if that attack roll does not create a hit.

-The two attack rolls are made at the same time, so they all count as your 'next' attack roll, or the 'first' or 'last' attack of a turn or round for abilities that use these phrases.

-The damage dealt is still damage being dealt by your warrior, and is not damage from a card ability.

-In order to make a critical hit, one of the attack rolls must hit and be doubles. An attack roll that misses but is doubles does not cause a critical hit.

-Critical hits with this weapon will deal double damage as normal, but only the damage caused by the critical attack roll is doubled. There are no rules for 'double critical hits', so multiple hitting doubles rolls will not create more damage. In short: if one or more of the attack rolls causes a critical hit, the attack deals 1 additional damage.

From the QCT

If you use Johnson's Army with Yereho and a 1 base damage warrior, would you do 2 damage with each roll higher than your opponent's or 1?

• Johnson's Army specifies several aspects of the way that the attack will work, including specifying the damage that the attack will deal - your warrior's damage. If you use these cards together, you will deal your warrior's damage - 1, in the example, for each attack roll that is greater than the defender's defense roll.

Can damage can be increased by card abilities when attacking with Johnson's Army?

• Yes, damage bonuses to your basic attacks will work normally.

Trivia

  • This card's title should be "Johnston's Army," as that was the colonel's name.
