The Kilij is a type of scimitar descended from the Turko-Mongol saber. This particular variation curves back and has a distinct tip known as a yelman.

Bölmek: If the defender has an armor card or a shield, attacks with this weapon deal -1 damage.

The flaring tip of a Kilij is called a "yelman" and adds a great deal of cutting power to the sword; this feature can still be seen today in British and American marine dress swords.
