Kite shields are tall and tapered, resembling an inverted teardrop, which better protected the bearer's leg, especially when mounted. These shields are often associated with the knights of Medieval Europe.
Status of Set 8
Note: This card was never printed. The final version from the design team has been spoiled as part of a prize to dedicated players on the Anachronism forums. There's no telling whether or not this card will be printed, and if it were, that it'd have the same text as the spoiled version.
As is, one will notice missing elements, since the card hasn't been finished. There's no artist or flavor text; card names & ability titles are English, rather than Old English.
