History in Brief
Anachronism Package Blurb
"Maui-Tikitiki was considered a demi-god in the tribal myths of the Maori. His mother thought Maui-Tikitiki was stillborn and, wrapping the baby in her topknot, set him adrift at the edge of the sea. Maui, however, survived and, after returning to his family, he was said to have pulled the North Island of New Zealand from the bottom sea while fishing. According to myth, he also slowed the passage of the sun by defeating it in combat. Finally, he tried to win immortality for all mankind, but was killed in the attempt and, for that reason, all men and women are mortal.
Emerging from the mists of legend, use Maui-Tikitiki, the greatest hero of the Maori people, to achieve the unachievable in your quest for dominance in the Anachronism arena."
Trivia
- If it hadn't been for that bird laughing, Maui would've conquered mortality.
