After Memnon was killed in battle, his mother (Eos) pleaded with Zeus to grant him immortality. Moved by her tears, the chief god did just that. At the site where Memnon was buried, birds erupted from ash and flame, and fought each other, before watering the grave and departing. This ritual happens every year, as birds die and rise from the ashes.

Status of Set 8

Note: This card was never printed. The final version from the design team has been spoiled to players on the Anachronism forums. There's no telling whether or not this card will be printed, and if it were, that it'd have the same text as the spoiled version.

As is, one will notice missing elements, since the card hasn't been finished. There's no artist or flavor text; card names and ability titles are English, rather than Amheric.
