Moctezuma II

Page history last edited by PBworks 17 years, 3 months ago

Popularly known as Montezuma, this Aztec tlataoni had the misfortune of ruling when Hernán Cortés and The Spanish came to the Americas. Despite being known as one of the final Aztec rulers, Moctezuma II was still governing and conquering territory while the Spanish were 'visiting' Tenochtitlán.

History in Brief

Anachronism Package Blurb

"Hernán Cortés was a great explorer in the employ of the Spanish empire. He sailed to the Americas in search of gold, working with the governor of Cuba to land expeditions in the unknown lands of Central America. Moctezuma II was the famous ruler of the Aztecs, ruling with near complete dominance of the area. In 1519, the two encountered each other, leading to the disastrous events which would eventually lead to the famed battles of Tenochtitlán. Make your own choices now and see if you can rewrite history by taking these famed warriors into the Anachronism™ arena!"

*(Since Moctezuma II was part of the Set 5 starter deck, he shares a blurb with the other warrior in the pack, Hernán Cortés.)
