Maori • Armor • Location
Whakakaha - Reveal: Place this card in any unoccupied space in the arena.
Whita: If an opposing warrior ends their turn in this card's space, deal 1 damage to them. While you are in or adjacent to this card's space, attacks against you cannot gain damage bonuses.
The Maori were able to build these earthen forts almost overnight. By the end of the Maori Wars, the evolution of the pa had made it an almost impregnable defensive structure.

Rulings
From the QCT
Wait...so does that mean that prevention of damage bonuses DOES count as damage reduction? Because previously, you specifically ruled that it did not.
Example: I have Milo of Croton and Haori. My opponent has Pa. Do I deal 2 damage or 1?
•If you are playing Milo of Croton and using Haori, but your opponent is playing Pa, your basic attacks will deal 1 damage. Pa doesn't reduce damage, which is what Haori protects against, but rather it prevents damage bonuses from being applied in the first place.
