More popularly known as "Sigurd," Siegfried was a legendary hero of Norse and Germanic myth. The epics Völsungsaga and Nibelungenlied are the best-known versions of Siegfried's tale.

**Siegfried + Broigne d'Ecailles + Jabal Tariq
How do these three cards interact? Broigne d'Ecailles' ability is applied after a defense roll is made, allowing Siegfried's defense rolls with his ability to be increased to an 11.
However, does this suddenly allow an attack roll bonus (such as one provided by Ranga-nui or attack grids) of up to +3 to work as well? Or is it still prevented because the bonus would be applied before Broigne d'Ecailles is activated and cannot be applied afterwards?
•If the defense roll bonus for an attack changes during the attack roll process, the 'cap' on the attack roll bonus imposed by Jabal Tariq will change with it.
Is Siegfried's ability considered a roll bonus or a roll modification?
If his ability is considered a roll bonus, the way he interacts with Jabal Tariq changes drastically, and P. Absolutism will not prevent his text.
•Setting a roll to a value is not a bonus. When Sigfried plays Jabal Tariq, the attacker can gain no attack roll bonuses larger than Sigried's bonus (which may be 0), and sigfried will set his defense rolls that are less than 8 to 8.
