I have a question regarding Wei Guo and other similar cards that can be used from the discard pile.
Let's say I have Wei Guo in my discard pile from a previous game, and I have not used it yet in the current game.
My opponent flips Qing Gong Palace, retrieves Wei Guo from my discard pile, puts it in play, uses it, and returns it to my discard pile at the end of the round.
Can I still use it that game? Is it one usage per game or can it be used twice since it is under the control of two different players?
•'Once each game' is 'once each game', not 'once each game for each player'. If your opponent uses an ability on a card with a usage restriction, that use counts towards the limited number of uses.
Ok, so we know that attacks made "at +X" cannot get bonuses or penalties, but they can get other modifiers such as extra dice or re-rolls. So two questions:
1. Can an attack made, say, at +3, be Wei Gou'd to remove the +3?
•Yes. Preventing the +3 from applying is not modifying that roll. In general, preventing a modifier is not in and of itself a modification.
